I went to a talk about how moss might be used more in the built environment. 6a and Troika both spoke about their experiences and experiments deploying the material in the Architecture Foundation’s moss-ed up space near London Bridge. It was exactly what the doctor ordered for me – dollop of arch, nature and the odd (odd) fact: you can blend up certain moss species with buttermilk n’ beer and just paint the live goo onto walls and it’ll grow given the right conditions! Lovely.
Architecture Foundation – I would really recommend their Architecture on Film programme at the Barbican – always enlightening and off-beat.
