So I started a new job fairly recently. One very small task is to put together a programme of talks in Squint/Opera‘s new bar – Doodle Bar. I have carte blanche to do what I want til Christmas so I’ve crammed in some crackers. First up on Wednesday is veteran underground explorer Andrew Smith, sharing his 20 years of experience exploring London’s disused tube stations, secret bunkers, hidden telephone exchanges. He will give us an insight into what is really beneath our feet as we go about the streets of London. www.subbrit.org.uk
