(Said in a 1940s BBC voice) At the Royal Institute of British Architects you can take in an exhibition, hang out in London’s most comprehensive architecture bookshop, take in a talk and have a good flirt in the library. Endless (cultural) fun! Its quite a grown up place buuuut, strangely is the most Manhattan like place I think I’ve found in London. Hemmed in by buildings the terrace – yes BIG TERRACE is rarely busy, often shady. Not sure if its open on Saturdays. The food is pretty good to boot.
