I managed to get to the First Thurs late openings at the East End galleries the other night. It was a great atmosphere….and a cheap night out to boots with £1.50 beers. For someone who is usually tasked with the planning (quite rightly!) its great to be able to switch off and just mosey about – aimlessly! mindlessly! Ducking in and out the galleries. I love doing a similar trawl in NY’s Chelsea – it…like….free entertainment. Theres a guy who makes a killer fresh Mumbai street snack out the back of his van for pittance. Almost worth going for that alone.
