Humboldt University’s Tieranatomische Theater, the veterinary school’s anatomical theatre is the oldest academic facility in Berlin and recently renovated. It was designed by architect Carl Gotthard Langhans, who designed the Brandenburg Gate at the same time in 1780. An especially peaceful spot well worth hunting out, just a stone’s throw from Freidrichstrasse.
