Went to a seriously good exhibition at the British Library – Magnificent Maps. I’m a sucker for maps – fantasy maps, old maps, plans – you name it. The embellishment, the deception….perspectives both in ideology and visualisation…the illustrative qualities and styles. This exhib has got it all and is curated brilliantly into military, education, state office, curiosities.
