The V&A run regular World Cities days on Saturdays. I go to most but tm just isn’t going to happen. Usually by some freakish coincidence I have a trip already in the pipeline for their feature cities, but I’m not off to Milan. I managed to pull off NY, Moscow and Berlin just before I visited. The V&A programme experts – historians, designers, urban explorers and more to open the cities up.
So tomorrow’s day is Milano – in their own words: “Discover the home of Armani, Prada, The Memphis Group and furniture fair, Salone del Mobile. Learn how Milan has inspired generations of designers and plan a visit to the city with a design flavour to see iconic and hidden locations, bars, museums and events.”
I love how the glitzy shopping area in Milan is called the Golden Triangle. Lawless, extreme and dangerous….??
