This old olive oil mill has space and peace in abundance. The mill has a huge pool, and rooms decked out in a fairly restrained rustic Provencal style. The restaurant is superb; one that will have you dreaming of returning. It is well located to explore the region’s medieval towns and the suprememly becalming Maeght Foundation in St Paul de Vence – a perfect, private 60s contemporary art gallery in a pine forest.
