IM Pei’s museum: very calm, very cool. Should be for it’s budget. The architect insisted on it being built out on reclaimed land so that it will never be overshadowed. I don’t think anyone could design a better bit of ceramic than this thousand-year old bowl. Doha in a mild sandstorm.
