When high-art-low-life goes wrong. After posting Friday’s grindcore gig + ceramics + venerable Victorian institution, the V&A have gone and cancelled the event, citing possible damage to the building and artworks from the Brummie’s bass rumblings.
I can’t help but feel an element of schadenfreude, as I was unable to secure one of the few tickets available.
As long as they don’t also cancel the Berghain ballet for similar reasons – those heavy footed dancers could really do some damage if they’re not careful.
