We went to a new bar near the Island Queen et al the other evening. It was great getting there early on – we had the run of the place. Space diminished as time went on but I’d really recommend it – great service too, and a screening room out the back. I was confined to soup options post-operation but people seemed to rate the grub. The setting is great, ducked off the main drag, only accessible by way of the towpath….with the ducks. It kind of felt quite New York ish. I expect summer will be awful and rammed so go whilst it’s the dead of winter.
