Those cavernous, inky, underground oil drums are now open. I went before the builders went in – it’s seriously good down there. I don’t know if the original agenda has changed, it was always going to house sound and experimental art but it looks like the first run of pieces are performance based. Get down there…opens next week on the 18th. My money would be on Anthony McCall (above) next weekend, I can’t go cos I’ll be in Kassel seeing bigger better artier art at Documenta.
