The other night we staggered over to the last night of Pret a Diner in Berlin. A lesson in how to activate a sponsorship deal well. Despite rumours of the food being a bit so so, it was spot on. All these things are a lottery anyway. The tour will take in Basel, Frankfurt, London, Rio, Venice, Ibiza, Sao Paulo, Miami – so plenty of opportunities to catch it. The chefs will change city to city but that does mean you’ll never get to experience the earthy filth of Stefan Hinz’s cocktails, especially the Smoked Truffle Old Fashioned.
