While I’m on the Kennington tip as per the following gallery….its time for….the Prince of Wales to make an appearance. Especially now the sun is poking out. The pub is on one corner, and despite this square being one of the jewels in the crown for Kennington with its fine fine Georgian arch, you can still kid yourself you might just be in a French village as you clutch a drink in the square on a balmy eve watching the old boys play petanque. Its that gravel that the French love so much (why?) so that helps the image along. So yes, one of London’s best.
