Deborah Colker is back in town this week to serve up some moves exploring the four main characters from Pushkin’s Eugene Onegin. It will be an interesting mix, Brazilian choreography with Russian narrative – I wouldn’t’ say they’re wholly compatible. Contemporary sounds will be dropped in around Rachmaninov, Stravinsky and Prokofiev. Her last performance, Knot was one of the best things I’ve seen so fingers crossed this will deliver.
