Created by the Taste Festival organisers, this three evening programme of masterclasses, demonstrations, tutorials and ‘live entertainment’ (whatever that is when it comes to cooking) seems an ideal excuse to go out and try food that may be otherwise out of reach.
Amongst the line-up of participating chefs, the ones that caught our eye were: a ‘Noma flavour test’ from Lars Williams, Head of R&D at the Copenhagen mother ship; Dinner’s Ashley Palmer-Watts appearing with top forager Miles Irving; Alex Atala from D.O.M in Sao Paulo, currently rated 4th best restaurant in the world; and cocktail maestro from Tony Conigliaro of cutting edge 69 Colebrooke Row.
There are plenty more well known names appearing across the three evenings, but frustratingly there’s no info yet of who is appearing on what night, so it may be something of a gastro lucky dip who you get to see.
At the very least you can check out host Gizzie Erskine’s tattoos and scoff your four courses and two drinks included in the ticket price.
